Drama Presents A Christmas Carol
The drama department proudly presents A Christmas Carol November 21-23 and December 5-7. Showtimes:

Help Cross Country Raise Money to Cure Childhood Cancer
The First Annual Sam Robb 5K will be held on November 22. The event will be held in honor of Sam Robb, a 2005 graduate, who lost his battle to bone cancer at the age of 20.

Vote for your Favorite Teacher
The yearbook staff is teaming with Jostens to help students express their positive views about the school and want to reward Centennial's teachers for all the work they do. Text CHS [TEACHER NAME] to 38714. If there is more than one teacher at the school with the same last name, include the first inital of the teacher. EXAMPLE TEXT: CHS SMITH H or CHS SMITH M. Vote from Nov 19-27. Students can vote up to five times a day per mobile phone number.
Advance Tickets Being Sold for Varsity Boys Basketball Season Opener
The Knights who are ranked preseason #3 in state AAAAA face the #1 ranked, South Atlanta Hornets of AAA (and #16 in the country) on Saturday, November 29 at 7pm at Georgia State University. Tickets are $12 each and are good for the entire day. Tickets can be purchased in the main office through Tuesday, November 25. Two dollars per ticket sold will be given back to our basketball program. Come out and support our Varsity Boys and remember to wear all black all season. Press Release
Seminar Website Open for Registration
Visit the seminar website to sign up for seminars in sessions 3 and 4. Students are asked to signup for session 3 on or before December 1st. Sign up soon as seminars are filling up fast.
Centennial Baseball is Hosting Breakfast with Santa

Fall Final Exam Schedule Released
Due to the changing from a six period schedule to an eight period one, the fall final exam schedule has changed. The zero period exam will kick things off on Monday, December 15. Full Schedule
Soccer Announces 2nd Annual 5K and Alumni Match
Centennial Knights Soccer will cohost the second annual 5K Fun Run/Walk and Alumni Match on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Stay tuned for more details.

Knight Takes on Jeopardy
Junior Bradley Silverman is still alive in the 2008 Teen Jeopardy Tournament. He won his semi-final match on Tuesday, November 18 and advances to the finals on November 20-21. Tune in to see Bradley compete for the $75,000 grand prize.

On November 18, the Mu Alpha Theta chapter inducted 19 new members and introduced their new officers.

On November 13, the Knight Battalion underwent their annual inspection and inreased their score by 3% from the previous year.

One Act Play Takes 2nd at Regions
A Christmas Carol earned 1st runner up (2nd place) at the Region 6AAAAA One Act Play contest on Saturday, November 8 at Milton High School.
Ten Students Named to the Fulton County Honor Band
On November 3, ten students were named to the Fulton County Honor Band. The Honor Band is an enrichment opportunity for outstanding high school band students from all over Fulton County.
Law and Justice Program Visits Washington During Historic Week
The Law and Justice Program visited Washington, DC from November 3-6 which turned out to be a particularly historic week in the Capital City!
Sixteen Students are 2009 GHP Semi-Finalists
Sixteen students have achieved semi-finalist status for the 2009 Governor's Honors Program and will represent Centennial in state-level interviews in January and February.

Seniors Michael Stribos and Amanda Millard were selected as the 2008 Homecoming King and Queen.
Seniors "Shine On" During Senior Service Day 2008
Over 400 members of Centennial’s class of 2009 spent the morning of Wednesday, October 15, volunteering in their community as part of the third annual Senior Service Day.

Marlee is currently a senior at UGA studying International Affairs and Political Science.
